DEFINITION:

The term “Self-Experimenting Examination”, or else “Self-Examination”, applies to any kind of investigation, research and/or examination which are provided by third-party professionals and which are initiated, controlled and self-administered by the Author who is involved as a supervisor and subject to such investigation, research and/or examination.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
Self-Examination

BACKGROUND OF DEVELOPING EXTRAORDINARY & SUPERNATURAL STEREOSCOPIC-ENHANCED VISUAL PERCEPTION ABILITY:

By practicing audiovisual stimulation training-based program with a usage of prototype-pattern of “Ver-QAG” device I have developed stereoscopic enhanced-perception ability, or else “alternate extraordinary and supernatural 3D-visual-perception ability”, that applies to observing stereoscopic effect while watching or seeing –

(a) anaglyph graphic images without wearing of red-cyan glasses (so-called “Supernatural anaglyph pseudo-long-sightedness”),

(b) HD-graphic images with a special color-effect applied (so-called “Supernatural Holographic Vision”).

3D stereoscopic effect of anaglyph graphic

THEORETICAL PREMISES:

Keeping in mind a frequently used slogan in neurology-related OCT research: “OCT – a window to the brain”, OCT-based measures are recognized as surrogate markers for global neurodegeneration and subsequently, other neurodegenerative disorders possibly associated resulting in –

(b)   the brain atrophy (brain parenchymal fraction) associated with RNFL thickness.

The neurodegeneration in the brain is reflected by different OCT patterns existing in color-deficiency, or color-blind, patients. The preliminary assumption concerns the potentiality of some neurodegenerative disorders connected to the visual system and associated with a possible cause of developing stereoscopic-enhanced visual perception ability.

METHOD OF RESEARCH:

Optical coherence tomography (OCT).

RNFL thickness average analysis report

MAJOR GOALS:

The goal of optical coherence tomography (OCT) Self-Examination was an investigating possible abnormalities, if found, in a vision system of correspondingly left and right eyes - optic discs and optic nerves, which may be a possible cause of a binocular disruption, or anomaly, resulting in developed extraordinary stereoscopic visual perception of anaglyph graphic images be watched without wearing color-pair-filters (e.g. red-cyan) glasses.

RESULTS:

The obtained results produced by Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) demonstrate providing direct evidence of –

(a)   no detection of congenital disorders of optic disc (excavation),
(b)  no detection of optic nerve material abnormalities or anomalies,
(c)  no detectable retinal damage,
(d)  no RNFL thinning.

CONCLUSIONS:

By analyzing and interpreting of OCT-results, the following conclusions are to be made:

(1)  the stereoscopic enhanced-perception abilities of “Supernatural  anaglyph pseudo-long-sightedness” and “Supernatural Holographic Vision”, developed by regular practicing of visual-training program with a usage of prototype-pattern of “Ver-QAG” device, are not conditioned on some abnormalities or anomalies in optic nerve and optic disc;
(2)  regular practicing of visual-training program with a usage of prototype-pattern of “VerQAG” device do not cause any abnormalities or anomalies in optic nerve and optic disc;
(3)   visual-training program with a usage of prototype-pattern of “VerQAG” device enables brain to learn and to develop an ability of spatial observing binocular multimedia content presented in the form of anaglyph graphic images, either animated or still, and to further be trained to perceive 3D stereoscopic effect of anaglyph graphic with no need of wearing color-pair-filters (e.g. red-cyan) glasses.

develop an ability of spatial observing binocular multimedia content

THEORETICALLY-ASSUMPTIVE FUTURE PERSPECTIVES:

Visual-training with a usage of “VerQAG” device may help enabling the color-deficiency or amblyopic patient’s brain to learn restoring normal vision or correcting such visual disorders with certain-degree efficiency.
